The Börsig GmbH data protection declaration is based on the terminology used by the European guidelines and ordinances when the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) was issued. We use the following terms among others in this data protection declaration:

Collection of general data and information 
Even in the case of purely informational use, a number of general data and information are transmitted with every visit to our website. We only collect the general data and information that your browser sends to our server. We collect data and information that is technically necessary for us to display our website and that serves the stability, security and prevention of danger in the event of attacks on our information technology systems.
In detail, the following data is collected:

  • Internet page from which an accessing system accesses our website (so-called referrer)

We delete the data arising in this context after the storing is no longer necessary for error analysis, or restrict the processing if there are legal storage obligations. The legal basis for data processing in this context is Article 6 Paragraph 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR. When using this general data and information, we do not make any conclusions about you as the person concerned.

Contact possibilities via the website 
When you contact us by e-mail or via a contact form, the data you provide will be stored by us to answer your questions. The data processing for the purpose of contacting us is carried out in accordance with article 6 paragraph 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR on the basis of your voluntarily given consent or in the case of a (pre-)contractual relationship with us in accordance with article 6 paragraph 1 lit. b GDPR. We delete the data arising in this connection after the storing is no longer necessary for the processing of your inquiry, or restrict the processing if there are legal obligations to keep records.

Usage of our webstore 
If you would like to order in our webstore, it is necessary to create a customer account, through which we can store some personal data for later purchases. It is also necessary for the conclusion of a contract that you provide some personal data, which we need for the processing of your order.
Necessary mandatory information is marked separately, further information is voluntary. We process the data provided by you to process your order. For this purpose we can pass on your payment data to our house bank. Legal basis for this is art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b GDPR.
We can also process the data you provide in order to inform you about other interesting products from our portfolio or to send you e-mails with technical information. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.

We are obliged by commercial and tax law to store your address, payment and order data for a period of ten years. However, after one year without login to the customer account, we will restrict processing, i.e. your data will only be used to comply with legal obligations.

To prevent unauthorized access to your personal data by third parties, especially financial data, the ordering process is encrypted using TLS technology.

Newsletter 
With your confirmation, you can subscribe to our newsletter, with which we inform you about our current interesting offers as well as products, technologies and news from the world of electronic components.

After your registration for our newsletter in the input mask provided for this purpose, we will send an e-mail to the e-mail address provided, in which we ask you to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter. A confirmation form is attached to this e-mail. By filling out, signing and returning this form, you confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter. If you do not confirm your subscription within 72 hours, your information will be blocked and automatically deleted after one month.

The purpose of this procedure is to provide proof of your registration and, if necessary, to clarify any possible misuse of your personal data.

Your e-mail address is the only mandatory information for sending the newsletter. The input of further, separately marked data is voluntary and is used to address you personally. After your confirmation we will save your e-mail address for the purpose of sending the newsletter. The legal basis is article 6 paragraph 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR.

You can recall your approval for the sending of the newsletter at any time and unsubscribe from the newsletter. You can perform the revocation by clicking on the link included in every newsletter e-mail.

Cookies 
When you use the website, cookies are stored on your computer. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive in accordance with the browser you are using and through which certain information is transmitted to the site that sets the cookie (in this case, by us).

Cookies cannot execute programs or transfer viruses to your computer. They are used to make the Internet offer as a whole more user-friendly and effective. We use cookies in order to be able to identify you for subsequent visits if you have an account with us. Otherwise you would have to log in again for each visit.
